Ich liebe Mint. Egal ob sie mint, aqau oder ice genannt wird - es ist meine absolute Lieblingsfarbe dieser Saison und perfekt kombinierbar zu Weiß und Schwarz. Alle drei "Farben" sind in meinem Einkauf vertreten. Die long shorts kann man super variieren - ob als kurze Bluse (indem man sie vorne in die Hose steckt), als Kleid oder lange Bluse. Sehr schön und inspirierend finde ich diese minimalistischen Look der Fashion Gallery von Gina Tricot.

I love mint. No metter if they call it mint, aqua or ice - it´s my favourite colour for this season and perfect combinable to black and white. I´ve shopped all three "colours". The long shirts are so variable - you can wear them as a short blouse (stick it into the pants), as a dress or a long blouse like in the following example. This minimalistic look of the fashion gallery of Gina Tricot is so beautiful and inspiring.

Später habe ich noch ein kreatives Meeting eines Designjobs für die Gestaltung eines Flyers und danach ein Treffen mit einer Freundin zum Kaffee. Wir gehen in eine Kaffeerösterei. Ich liebe es dort sowie den Kaffee und die Éclaires, die direkt aus Frankreich kommen.

Later I´m having a creative meeting of my design job in order to design a flyer and after that I´m having a coffee with a friend. We´ll went to an coffee roastery. I love it there and the coffee is so delicious - also the éclaires directly from france.

Mein heutiges Outfit ist einfach comfy. Ich bin so froh, endlich barfüßig flache Schuhe tragen zu können...heute trug ich meine Leopard Loafers, die ich bereits im Januar gekauft hatte.

Heute war ein toller Tag! Ich war mit meiner Mama shoppen. Es fühlte sich wie eine halbe Ewigkeit an, dass wir das das letzte Mal gemacht haben. Ich hätte noch viel mehr kaufen können...einige Teile befinden sich allerdings bereits in meinem Paket von H&M, das auf seinen Versand wartet. Kleiner Hinweis: es wird blumig und mint.

Heute hatte ich eine weiße Skinny an. Als ich die Snakebluse darauf anprobiert habe, war ich verliebt. Florale Prints sind nun überall zu sehen, wieso nicht auch im Bett, wenn es niemand sieht? Die Vorstellung in Blumen zu schlafen hat mir so sehr gefallen, dass ich den blumigen Pyjama kaufen musste. Jetzt müssen die Tage und Nächte nur noch wärmer werden! Gegen das Basicshirt fand ich keine Argumente, also durfte es mit. Am meisten freue ich mich aber über die fake Lederweste. So eine habe ich schon seit letztem Sommer gesucht.

Wie findet ihr meine Einkäufe? Welches ist euer Lieblingsteil?

Today was a great day! I did some shopping with my mum. It felt like donkey´s years that we did. I could buy more stuff...but some pieces I liked are already in an order of H&M, still waiting to be send. A little hint: it will be floral and mint.

Today, I wore white skinnies. When I tried the snake blouse on them, I fell in love with it. Floral prints are everywhere, so why not in bed when nobody sees them? I´m also in love with the imagination to sleep in flowers, so I bought this floral satin pyjama. Now the temperatures on day and night have to rise!
I couln´t find any arguments against this white basic shirt, so I bought it. The piece I´m really happy about is the fake leather waistcoat , because I was searaching for one like this since last summer.

What´s your opinion of my purchases? Which is your favourite piece?

Now I´m watching "LANVIN...vor der Show" on arte!

Gestern habe ich es bereits auf Facebook gepostet und manche von euch haben mich bereits in der aktuellen deutschen GRAZIA erkannt. Ich durfte Teil der Style Jury sein, bei der Outfits unterschiedlicher Stars bewertet werden. GRAZIA lädt hierzu jeden Mittwoch die Styles auf ihrer Facebookpage hoch, um von den Lesern kommentiert zu werden. Mit etwas Glück wird man ausgewählt und darf Teil der Style Jury sein. In dieser Ausgabe wurden die Outfits von Poppy Delevingne, Leighton Meester, Kate Bosworth und Olivia Palermo unter die Stylelupe genommen.

Yesterday, I wrote it on facebook and some of you already made me out in the current german GRAZIA. I took part at the style jury, in which you evaluate the styles of different star outfits. Vor 3 Monaten Habe ich mir die erste Kette bei Gina Tricot (ich glaube für) 12.95 € gekauft.

Jetzt habe ich eine verblüffend ähnliche Kette im H&M Onlineshop für 9.95 € entdeckt.

Sie sehen sich sehr ähnlich, oder?

Die einzigen Unterschiede sind der Preis, die durchgängigen matten Glieder des H&M Modells, während sie beim Gina Tricot Modell zwischen glänzend und matt wechseln und dass die H&M Kette auch in Silber erhältlich ist...prompt in Silber bestellt ;)

Da steckt wohl der gleiche Lieferant dahinter.

3 months ago I bought the 1st at Gina Tricot for (I think) 12.95 €.

Now I saw this similar necklace in the online shop of H&M for 9.95€.

Quite similar, aren´t they?

The only difference is the price, the permanent dull elements of the H&M model while teh elements of the Gina Tricot necklace alternate between dull and bright and that the H&M necklace is also available in silver...ordered in silver ;)

Perhaps there is the same supplier behind it.

Nächste Woche wird mein Onkel 50 und feiert dementsprechend seinen Geburtstag. Allmählig mache ich mir Gedanken über mein Outfit. Dies hier ist mein erster Vorschlag.

Next week, my uncle turns 50. So I give thoughts to the outfit I´m gonna wear. This is my 1st suggestion.

In Facebook habe ich gestern in meinem geplanten Tagesablauf geschrieben, dass ich NUR nach Babysachen schauen möchte...aus dem nur wurde ein "und ein bisschen für mich". In meine Tüte kamen nur Neon- und Nudetöne.

Yesterday, I wrote in my planned day on facebook that I´ll have a look ONLY for baby clothes...but there was also a little look for ME. I just bought neon and nude colours.

Die Outfits für den Nachwuchs hatten natürlich erste Priorität. Eine meiner besten Freundinnen und ich stellten wir 3 Outfits für das kleine Babygirl zusammen, die wir am liebsten selbst getragen hätten. Erst danach hielten wir die Augen für Teile in unerer Größe offen und wurden fündiger als erhofft...besonders die Vogel-Bluse hat es mir angetan - ich hatte sofort 100te (übertrieben) von Outfits im Kopf.

Wie findet ihr meinen Einkauf?

The outfits for the little baby had the first priority. One of my best friends and I assembled 3 outfits for the little baby girl, which we would wear ourselves. Afterwards we kept our eyes on clothes in our sizes and found more than hoped-for...the bird blouse is my favourite one - immediately, I had hundreds (overstated) outfits in my head.

What do you think of my purchases?

After doing some sports (to burn the calories of our sunday´s lunch) we´ll go to the birthday of my cousin (and get new calories ;)).

Dieser Winter war sehr winterlich kalt, stürmisch, aber auch sonnig und mild - von allem etwas. Für jedes Wetter hatte ich den passenden Mantel. Hier eine Übersicht meiner winterlichen Begleiter (meine fake fur Westen habe ich weggelassen, da sie euch auch außerhalb der Winterzeit begegnen).

This winter was extremely cold, stormy, but also sunny and mild - something of everything. For every weather I had the right coat. Here is an overview of my wintery compagnions (without my fake fur vests, because you´ll also see them out of winter).

My Impressions...exhibitions!

Einige Eindrücke unserer Ausstellung zur Eröffnung unserer erweiterten Atelierräumlichkeiten. Die Ausstellung hatte meine Erwartungen echt übertroffen. Es waren so viele Leute da, um sich unsere Werke anzusehen.

Some impressions of our exhibition connected with the expansion of our atelier. The exhibition was amazing! There were so many people to see our art.

Die Ausstellung ging über zwei Etagen, dabei waren die Werke in den Fluren ausgestellt sowie in den einzelnen Atelierräumen, deren Türen zur Ausstellung den Besuchern offen standen.
Das ist unser Atelierraum. Ihr könnt meine 18 Fotos und Fotomontagen sehen, die in diesem Semester entstanden sind.

The exhibition was in two floors where the works of art were presented in the corridor and the atelier rooms which were open-door for the exhibition visitors. This is our atelier room. You can see my 18 photos and photomontages which are results of this semester.

Im Anschluss an diese Ausstellung fand eine zweite Ausstellung mit dem Titel "undercover" statt. Im Rahmen eines Seminars entwickelten zehn Studierende die unterschiedlichsten Installationen, die sie in einem verlassenen Stabsgebäude ausstellten, in dem die Temperaturen niedriger waren als die Außentemperaturen. Zur Aufwärmung gab es Glühwein und heißen Tee.Die Installationen waren sehr beeindruckend.

Subsequent to this exhibition was the opening of a second one with the title "undercover". In the context of a seminar, ten students developed the most diverse installations which were presented in an abandoned building. The temperatures in the building were lower than the outdoor temperature. For warming they offered warm tea and glogg. The installations were really impressive.

Gestern war unsere Ausstellung, die meine Erwartungen echt übertroffen hat. Es waren so viele Leute da, um sich unsere Werke anzusehen.

Zuerst wollte ich schlicht in einem schwarz-grauen Outfit hingehen, doch dann habe ich mich für Pastelltöne entschieden. Ich liebe diesen Frühlings-Sommertrend. Ich halte bereits Ausschau nach neuen Teilen, insbesondere in Flieder und Mint. Aber auch in den Tiefen meines Schrankes habe ich einige pastellige Teile entdeckt, wie die, die ich in diesem Outfit kombiniert habe. Sie stammen alle aus den Sommerkollektionen 2011. Ich mag die Kombination von Apricot und Mint wirklich sehr. Ihr auch?

Yesterday was our exhibition and it was amazing! There were so many people to see our art.

First I chose a black and grey outfit, but then I decided to wear pastels. I love this trend for spring and summer. Especially, I´m looking for some pieces in lilac and mint. But I also take from the back of my wardrobe some clothes with this colors that I had forgotten like the pieces of this outfit. They are all from summer collections 2011. I really like the combination of apricot and mint. You too?

Heute beginnt endlich unsere Ausstellung zur Eröffnung unserer erweiterten Atelierräume. Ich bin noch unschlüssig, was ich dazu anziehen werde...aber es sind ja noch 4 Stunden bis dahin. Mein Beitrag zu dieser Ausstellung sind Fotographien und Fotomontagen, die in diesem Semester entstanden sind. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt und werde natürlich Eindrücke einfangen, die ich in den nächsten Tagen mit euch teilen werde.

Als ich diese Armkette in einer Zeitschrift gesehen hatte, bae ich mich in sie verliebt. Gestern ging ich gleich zu Bijou Brigitte, um nach ihr zu sehen. Ich war so glücklich als ich sie gefunden hatte.

Am Freitag Abend war ich im Kino in "Ziemlich beste Freunde". Es war ein fantastischer Film. Ich dachte mir schon, dass es ein sehr guter Film wäre, aber er war noch besser als ich dachte. Habt ihr ihn gesehen?

Heute ist der letzte Tag der Vorlesungszeit und die letzte Exkursion. Wir fahren nach Heidelberg. Zuerst in eine Austellung über Künstler von Morgen und danach in die Prinzhorn Sammlung. Ein guter Weg, um das Semester ausklingen zu lassen!

Nächste Woche haben wir eine eigene Ausstellung zur Erweiterung unserer Atelierräume. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt!

Today is the last official day of lectures and the last excursion. We´ll visit an exhibition about artists of tomorrow, after that we´ll have a look at the Prinzhorn Sammlung in Heidelberg. A good way to bring the semester to a close.

Next week we´ll have our own exhibition connected with the expansion of our atelier. I´m so excited!

new in the closet...camel coat!

Eines der Teile meiner H&M-Bestellung ist dieser camelfarbene Mantel. In einer vorherigen Bestellung wurde er bereits für meine Mum geliefert. Ich liebe die Military Details sowie dass er Ähnlichkeiten zu einem Trench Coat aufweist, sodass ich ihn auch für mich bestellen musste.

One piece of my H&M order is this camel coat. I´ve ordered it in an earlier packet for my mum. I love the military details and the similarity to a trench coat, so I had to order it for myself.

Die Fellweste habe ich heute zurückgeschickt. Aus 2 Gründen. Zum einen war das Fell an manchen Stellen nicht schön verarbeitet und zum anderen, weil heute Morgen ein guter Morgen war. Ich habe endlich meine Schuhe gekauft :) Ich hatte mir geschworen, wenn ich sie nochmal bekommen würde, ich alles andere zurücksende. Ich hab so lange um sie gekämpft, das morgendliche Nachsehen, ob sie noch in 36 vorhanden sind, hat endlich ein Ende. Drückt mir weiterhin die Daumen, dass sie auch ankommen und nicht letzten Endes aus der Bestellung fliegen...hab ich alles schon gehabt.

I sent the fake fur vest back. Because of 2 reasons. On the one hand, in some spots the fur was not well handled. On the other hand, bacause this morning was a great morning! Finally, I bought these shoes :) I was promising myself, that I would send anything back, if I get these shoes again! I was fighting so long, watching in the OS every morning has now an end! Keep fingers crossed that I´ll receive them!

Es ist sooooo kalt, dass ich 10 Minuten gebraucht habe bis sich mein Tankdeckel öffnen lies. Gegen diese Kälte bringt mein Mantel aus dem letzten Post nicht sonderlich viel. Meine Facebook-reader wissen bereits, dass ich mir die letzten Tage meinen (fake) Fellmantel übergeworfen habe.

It´s so cold. It took 10 minutes to open my fuel tank cap. Unfortunately, I don´t get warm enough in my coat of my previous post. My facebook-reader already know I´m wearing my fake fur coat.

Als ich diesen Mantel im ZARA-Sale gesehen habe, war´s um mich geschehen. Bei meinem ZARA-Besuch vor zwei Wochengab es ihn nur in L. Als ich jedoch letzte Freitag nach einer Exkursion nochmals im ZARA vorbeischaute, habe ich ihn in S gefunden und sofort gekauft. Ich hatte solch einen Mantel mit Lederärmeln den ganzen Winter über gesucht.

When I saw this coat at ZARA, I felt in love. On my 1st visit at ZARA I saw it in size L, but last friday, after an excursion I finally got it in size S. The whole winter I was searching for a coat like this.

Bisher trug ich immer meine Lederjacke zur fake Fur Weste. Beim Ausmisten habe ich meinen Sommerparka entdeckt und Lust bekommen ihn anzuziehen. Ohne Fellweste ist es noch "etwas" zu kalt für den Parka. Ich finde die Kombi kann sich sehen lassen.

I always wear my leather jacket under the fake fur vest. But while clearing out my wardrobe, I found my summer parka and pumped me up wearing it. It was too cold without my fur vest, so I put it on. I really like this combination.

Seit gestern gibt es die Linie KARL von Karl Lagerfeld bei Net-a- porter.com zu ergattern. Meines Erachtens eine sehr gelungene Kollektion, die in mir ein HABEN-WILL-GEFÜHL auslöst. Leider ist sie trotz niedrigerem Preissegment, meinem Geldbeutel noch zu teuer. Hier eine Auswahl meiner Favoriten.

Since yesterday you can buy the Karl Lagerfeld collection KARL at Net-a-porter.com. In my opinion, it´s a really sucessful collection. In me it induces a feeling of MUST-HAVE. In spite of the cheaper prices the collection is too expensive for my purse.

Jeden Morgen chekce ich als erstes, ob diese beiden Artikel wieder aufgefüllt wurden.

Heute Morgen war ein guter Morgen. Ich habe endlich diesen waistcoat von gina tricot bestellt. Allerdings in 36...ich hoffe die Weste passt. Bei gina brauche ich normal 34.

Nun bin ich noch auf der Suche nach diesen Wedges von H&M. Richtig, ich kennt die, da sie in jedem Outfit meiner Posts zu sehen sind. Mittlerweile haben sie einen used-look angenommen, sodass ich dringend neue brauche. Leider sind sie überall in meiner Größe (36) ausverkauft - in den Shops, im OS, überall.

I´m still searching for these wedges of H&M. Righ, you know them, because they are on every outfit in my posts. But now they got a used-look, so I need new ones. But they are sold out in my size (36) - in shops, in the OS - everywhere.

Yesterday I was wearing a lot of my new clothes you know from the latest post. My old new "leather" skinnies, my new knit and of course my new boyfriend coat.

I love it.

Am besten schaut ihr nicht auf mein Ponie. Ich lass es wieder wachsen, um im Sommer endlich wieder Naturlocken zu tragen. Momentan ist eine doofe Länge erreicht.

Heute zeige ich euch mein Zimmer. Grund dafür sind mein neuer Schreibtisch und Stuhl. Beides waren Weihnachtsgeschenke meiner Eltern. Ich wollte sie euch allerdings erst zeigen, wenn das Paar vereint ist. Der Stuhl kam heute an.

Today I show you my room. The reason are my new desk and chair. They were my christmas presents of my parents. I´ve waited to show it to you till the pair was completed. The chair arrived quite today.

Ich liebe es an diesem Platz zu arbeiten.

Am Freitag waren wir auf Exkursion in Saarbrücken an der Hochschule Bildender Künste. Ja genau Sarbrücken, die Stadt mit dem PRIMARK, in dem ich bereits vor einem Monat war.

Seit einem Jahr habe ich nach solchen Leopardenloafers gesucht, aber sie haben nie gepasst. Jetzt habe ich sie!

I was searching for such a pair of leopard loafers since one year. But haven´t found a pair fitting well. Now I have them!

Ich musste sie kaufen. Sie sitzen perfekt und in Schlangenoptik. Ich liebe Schlangenprints.

I had to buy them. They are perfect and they are snaked. I love snake prints.

...und wieder Schlange. Das ist der gleiche Gürtel, den ich mir bei meinem letzten PRIMARKbesuch in Greige mitgenommen habe. Er wird perfekt zu meiner Clutch passen, die ich jetzt dort gelassen habe, aber zur Belohnung nach den Klausuren von einer Freundin mitgebracht bekomme.

...and snake again. This is the same belt I´ve bought on my last PRIMARK shopping. It will be perfect to my clutch I left behind. But after my exams a friend of mine will bring it along as a reward.

Heute trage ich nichts Besonderes - es regnet und ich werde lernen, lernen, kurz Sport machen und lernen...das gute daran ist, dass ich das Thema mag. Ich recherchiere über NASAN TUR - ein deutsch-türkischer Künstler, der in Berlin lebt. Gestern habe ich den Ausstellungskatalog zur aktuellen Ausstellung PREMIERE_2 in der Kunsthalle Mannheim erhalten. Bei meinem Besuch der Ausstellung, war ich so von der Videoinstallation beeindruckt, dass es für mich klar war ihn als mein 2. Prüfungsthema zu wählen.

Today I´m wearing nothing special, because I´m learning, learning, doing some sports and learning...the good thing is, that I like the theme. I´m reading about NASAN TUR - an Turkish-German artist who lives in Berlin. Yesterday I received the exhibition catalogue of the current exhibition with the title PREMIERE_2 at the Kunsthalle Mannheim.

I was really impressed by the videoinstallation, when I visited teh exhibition. I was convinced to take this artist as my second theme of my exam.

Als ich die Hose das erste Mal sah war ich nicht so begeistern, weil ich mir nicht vorstellen konnte, was ich dazu kombinieren konnte. Als ich sie dann aber mit einem unifarbenen Oberteil kombiniert sah, war´s um mich geschehen ;) Danach musste ich sie haben...und hier ist sie!

When I saw these pants for the first time I wasn´t really impressed. Because I couln´t imagine how to wear them. But when I saw them in combination with a uni coloured shirt, I fall in love :) After that I had to get them...and here it is!

Gestern war ich mit zwei meiner besten Freundinnen im PRIMARK shoppen. Wir waren zum ersten Mal im neueröffneten PRIMARK in Saarbrücken und waren von der Organisation und Ordnung beeindruckt. Neben dem Ausflug zu PRIMARK war ein Gutschein von selbigem Teil meines Geburtstagsgeschenkes, das wir endlich eingelöst haben.

Das habe ich gekauft...zusammengefasst habe ich Teile in Metallic, Nude, Rot und Schlange gekauft.

Yesterday, I was at PRIMARK for shopping with two of my best friends. We were the first time in the newopened shop in Saarbrücken and were impressed by the housekeeping and the coordination. The trip to PRIMARK and a voucher of it was a part of my birthday present we finally rendeemed.

This is what I´ve bought...summed up I´ve bought metallics, nudes, reds and snake prints.

Aus Erfahrungen früherer PRIMARK-Besuche hatte sich jede von uns zuvor ein Limit festgelegt, über das wir auf keinen Fall kommen wollten, um nicht unser ganzes Weihnachtsgeld auszugeben. Hätten wir das nicht gemacht, wäre noch viel mehr in der Tüte gelandet. Es war wie im Paradies ;)
